Evolution Vs Creation A heated debate for over 50 years
Not only is atheistic evolution totally wrong, the unethical methods and falsifications its proponents use, show us what happens when the moral standards set by our Great Creator are ignored. Much of this issue of HOF ezine is devoted to that argument. The evolutionists are embarrassed and distressed over the fact that they can produce no solid evidence whatsoever to enhance their pitiful suppositions. So therefore, they resort to taking the offensive to promote their subterfuges, wild imaginations, and outright lies. This issue is intended to expose some of their tactical errors. Following are some news briefs from year 1996 with their wild ideas:
Exciting Old Testament archeology find
Johannesburg Star
August 2, 1996
Four ancient tablets discovered in an excavation site at the ancient city of Hazor have been described as the most important ones ever found in Israel. They are the first documents outside the Bible to mention the name of this city, which ‘is referred to in the book of Joshua as one of the great Canaanite kingdoms that dominated the north before the arrival of the Israelites.’ The tablets point to the presence of two royal archives, which it is now hoped will be discovered in further excavations. By the time of Abraham, Hazor was a major centre of commerce. One of the tablets contains multiplication tables, another is about a civil dispute, and a third lists goods sent in trade between cities.
Another of many finds which confirms the Bible's accuracy. Evolutionists gloat when there are things written in the Bible that remain unsubstantiated. We must always remember that the absence of further evidence does not mean evidence of error. (jhh)

New form of life found
Time–Warner’s Pathfinder web site on the PointCast network
August 1996
‘Microbe holds clues to origins of life’ — so reads the headline in a news item published on Time-Warner’s Pathfinder web site. The microbe in question, Methanococcus, was found in the deep sea, in a volcanic vent. It is so different to other microbes that it has been placed in a new kingdom, the Archaea. When these microbes were first discovered in the 1970s, they were pronounced as being ‘ancient’ and it was hoped that study of them would reveal something of how life formed itself on earth.
One of these ‘primitive’, ‘ancient’ organisms has now had its DNA decoded. It has about 1700 genes — about the same number as free-living bacteria in the other major kingdom of microbes. The article says its ‘place on the evolutionary ladder remains unclear’.
When a new form of ancient life is discovered, evolutionists are elated. But the elation turns to fluster when it is found to be as complex as modern day microbes. In this case, the Methanococcus microbe proved to be just as complex as the Haemophilus influenzae bacterium of today. (jhh)

Butterflies stay on course
New Scientist 152(2054):18
November 2, 1996.
Insects are normally regarded as ‘primitive’ on the evolutionary scale. However, recent research suggests that butterflies migrating across large tracts of open ocean can compensate against being blown off course in ways which suggest that they have a magnetic sense, and/or a built–in navigational ‘map’. Zoologist Charlie Ellington of Cambridge University says, ‘It implies a level of processing information that we didn’t think they had.’
Ideas such as ‘advanced’ or ‘primitive’ are based on the bias engendered by mistaken evolutionists suppositions — all organisms are ‘designed to do what they do’, and do it well. (jhh)

Rebuttals Halton C. Arp exposes subterfuges of evolutionist scientists
In the ongoing debate over the nature of extragalactic redshifts and the validity of current cosmological models I believe a number of misleading statements have been made and widely publicized. Some of the more prominent examples are discussed below where I attempt to supply fuller information on important observations.
NGC 4319 and Markarian 205 - Why Hide a Cosmic Bridge?
In 1971 with the 5 meter telescope on Mt. Palomar a luminous bridge was discovered between the low redshift galaxy NGC 4319 and the much higher redshift quasar, Markarian 205. Because this contradicted the assumption that redshift was invariably a measure of velocity and distance, it invalidated the hypothesis of an expanding universe. Conventional astronomers fiercely resisted this evidence but as it accumulated for this and numerous other similar examples the results were increasingly suppressed and ignored.
Flash forward to October 2002. The Space Science Telescope Institute issued a press release with a picture of NGC 4319/Mrk 205 showing no bridge and with the imputation that it never existed. After all these years we suddenly learn there was serious evidence which has now been finally refuted. But wait a minute! The picture actually does show the bridge. If you just down load the web image and increase the contrast at faint levels, there it is! Actually the NASA "proof" picture was not even printed deeply enough to show the outer spiral arms of the galaxy! There is a narrower core to the bridge, a kind of umbilical cord which the higher resolution HST can now pick out. Many non professionals immediately produced very good pictures of the bridge from the same NASA picture. Here is shown a comparison of the press release picture and a deep print of the same picture by Jack Sulentic of the University of Alabama. Click Here to see the actual photo and enhanced photo also. Also read his rebuttles here of "Quasars in Back of Galaxies?" and "Is Space Filled with Intervening Gas Clouds?", also his thwarting of the "3C273" redshifts exaggerations.
[ Halton C. Arp received his Bachelors degree from Harvard College in 1949 and his Ph.D. from California Institute of Technology in 1953, both cum laude. He is a professional astronomer who, earlier in his career, conducted Edwin Hubble's nova search in M31. He has earned the Helen B.Warner prize, the Newcomb Cleveland award and the Alexander von Humboldt Senior Scientist Award. For 28 years he was staff astronomer at the Mt. Palomar and Mt. Wilson observatories. While there, he produced his well known catalog of "Peculiar Galaxies" that are disturbed or irregular in appearance.
Arp discovered, from photographs and spectra with the big telescopes, that many pairs of quasars (quasi-stellar objects) which have extremely high redshift z values (and are therefore thought to be receding from us very rapidly - and thus must be located at a great distance from us) are physically connected to galaxies that have low redshift and are known to be relatively close by. Because of Arp's observations, the assumption that high red shift objects have to be very far away - on which the Big Bang theory and all of "accepted cosmology" is based - has to be fundamentally reexamined.! ]

A PLEA WE CAN ALL HELP WITH
I received the following message, just this morning and I would like to spread it around. Let's shower this congregation with sound tracts, pamphlets, books, bulletins or other publications we can lay our hands on.
Dear Brethren,
The blessings and love of the Almighty God be upon you and yours!
I am brother Roberto Q. Indong of the Philippines. I am serving the Calasiao Church of Christ here in Cabilocaan, Calasiao, Pangasinan, Philippines.
We are humbly requesting from you to please send us regularly your monthly publication or tracts for FREE to our congregation. We recognize, value a lot, and believe that Biblical written materials and publications have great impact and are very helpful in any evangelistic efforts in reaching the lost souls, and in furthering and strengthening the knowledge and faith of the brethren.
We will also appreciate and be grateful a lot if you could send us also books for my growth as a gospel preacher and for the congregation! Should you grant our request for the sake of Christ? Thank you very much!
God bless us all as we continue to give our best in serving the Master and the church!
Please send to us our request in this address:

MUSINGS OF JOEL Imaginations, Frauds, Hoaxes
Most of you have heard of the Piltdown man (or men)hoax, when a jawbone and a skull were found in a quarry in Piltdown, England in 1912. Some scientists thought they had eventually found the transitional evidence of an early unknown human. It was proven in 1953 to have been purposely perpetrated fraud. The skull was a modern man skull, the jawbone from an orangutan.
Needless to say, this type of thing is embarrassing to the evolutionists, but they continue to do such things on a regular basis. Perhaps not that boldly but certainly things which they know better than to do. It damages their cause which certainly needs nothing falsified to destroy it, the facts destroy it.
Then: Heeerrre's LUCY! Evolutionist's only hope. A farce.
Lucy is the 40% more-or-less complete australopithicus skeleton which is commonly presented as a missing link of sorts, and the thought processes behind the manner in which reconstructions of lucy are presented indicates a mindset in which, at every point where reality clashes with ideology, it is reality which simply gets tossed out.
Lucy's actual remains did not include hands or feet but their reconstructions are commonly presented with human or near-human hands and feet despite the fact that other skeletons of the same creature have hands and feet which are clearly those of an ape, with curved fingers for moving about in trees. Their reasoning for their view was they found clear tracks of human footprints in the same strata and location as Lucy's remains and the assumption is that at least one australopithicus MUST have had human feet. A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.
Do not try to live for ever. You will not succeed.

The Fox and the Lion
When a Fox who had never yet seen a Lion, fell in with him by chance for the first time in the forest, he was so frightened that he nearly died with fear. On meeting him for the second time, he was still much alarmed, but not to the same extent as at first. On seeing him the third time, he so increased in boldness that he went up to him and commenced a familiar conversation with him.
