Atheistic evolutionists desire very much to claim the word "science" as their word and they can assign any meanings to it that suits their fancy. If you were to try and define it in only a word or two, the nearest you could come to it is "study of". The above definition from "Answers" is about as accurate as I have found anywhere. I've had a couple of exchanges via newspaper letters to the editor, with an atheist and he repeatedly emphasizes that creationists have not one iota of "empirical" evidence for it. Wrong! We can see the sun rise each morning with eyes of such complexity that man will never be able to reproduce it. We can see an extremely vast universe of galaxies functioning precisely for years and years while man cannot even figure out where one molecule of matter came from. The meaning of empirical evidence is that which verifies by observation or experiment. The universe is here, it is observable. There is no other possible way it could be here except for intelligent design.

Evolutionists deny all of that. But they are the ones that have absolutely no empirical evidence for our existence. Not only do they have none, but there are laws that prove beyond doubt that their hypotheses are impossible. There are observable phenomena that disproves almost all of their proposals. The laws of thermodynamics kill them dead in their tracks. Yet they hedge and try to make exceptions in their case.

Those of us who accept the Holy Bible as being revelation from Jehovah God, are invariably accused of denying that science is true and accurate. That is simply a willful lie. The dishonesty lies rather with atheists and those pseudo scientists who base their conclusions on wild imaginations, suppositions and outright willful deception. Most of us have studied, or at least heard of, the Piltdown men as discovered in 1912. Two skulls, a jaw bone, and three teeth were found, supposedly from the Pleistocene era (over 120,000 years ago) in the Piltdown quarry in Britain.

Much hoopla arose over the discovery and some pseudo scientists claimed that, at last, they had found the “missing link”. As the years passed, many began to question the authenticity of the discovery. And finally after 1950, new tests were made and a further investigation followed. The skulls were simply human and were about 620 years old. The jawbone was shown to be from an Orangutan and was about 500 years old from another location, probably Sarawak. One elephant molar is thought to have come from Tunisia and the hippopotamus tooth from Malta or Sicily. The third tooth from a chimpanzee. All, a purposely planned fraud. There have been many other hoaxes and even far more overly zealous imaginations run amok.

All true Bible students have no fear of science and, in fact, are eager to have scientific investigations and archaeological discoveries brought to the public eye, so long as they are honest and forthright. Over the past few centuries, numerous finds have been made by archaeologists that prove the reliability of the Bible. And not one, has ever been discovered that proves macro-evolution’s hypotheses or that cast doubt upon the Holy Bible.

Pity the poor atheist. They spend hours of struggle and worry, disappointment and confusion, trying to show where the words of the Almighty God are in error, one statement contradicts another or that proves to be geographically, chronologically or scientifically inaccurate. This has been the life’s work of a number of renowned atheists and infidels for hundreds, even thousands of years. But alas, not one item can be found. No other book can claim such a record. It is little wonder the Bible refers to them as fools. (Psalm 14:1) (Psalm 53:1)

The true strength of a congregation is not found in the large number of people on the roll, the amount of money in the treasury, the host of prominent citizens found among the membership nor the beautiful and expensive building which might be owned by the local church. Such could be in evidence because of a strong spiritual group of saints but would not necessarily and always be true. You can read the history of the early church and learn that this statement is accurate. The kingdom of God is manifested in such qualities as “righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Romans 14:17). “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control. Against such there is no law” (Galatians 5:22, 23). Please observe that the word “fruit” is singular. This means that all the qualities mentioned are aspects of single life, that is, one that is committed to living for the Lord and governed by the Spirit. While we sometimes pride ourselves in the fact that our attendance has increased and our monetary contributions are at an all time high we must understand that true strength is to be measured in the spiritual development of individual Christians.

Such growth is not necessarily reported in our brotherhood papers as progress reports. For example, a Christian lady related to me that if she worked two days in a week one day’s salary would be given to the Lord. That’s just wonderful! A brother related to me once that he had the chance to have his overseer fired because of personal differences but didn’t since the man would not have financial support for his family. That is growth because prior to this brother’s conversion to the Lord the two men had actually fought. You witness a sister who at one time neglected the worship assemblies but now is attending faithfully because of her love for the Lord – that is growth. You notice the increased interest in Bible study in a brother and hear him talking to others about the need of obeying Jesus Christ – that is growth. A husband and wife who once fought and fused all the time but are now living in peace and harmony and rearing their children in the way of the Lord – that is growth.

It is a beautiful thing to witness Christians growing in “the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (II Peter 3:18). We all should heed the exhortation found in Hebrews 6:1, “Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection…” Each one of us should strive “to be conformed to the image of His Son…” (Romans 8:29). However we must understand that by ourselves we cannot accomplish the desired results. Our help comes from above. As Paul said, “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).

I know. When I get started on something, I don't know when to stop. But I just can't get over seeing adult, intelligent men knowingly misrepresent facts when the truth would do better. I am going to put a few quotes below for your consideration.
